The 2016 Labour Day demonstration at Marineland was a huge success seeing approximately 200 people attend the end of summer protest. Attendees held signs eliciting supportive honks from passing motorists and pleaded with families not to support animal captivity by entering the facility. Throughout the day several groups could be seen changing their minds and leaving without entering.

While this is the final demonstration of 2016, a full slate of demonstrations is already being planned for 2017 should Marineland re-open for another season.
